Dark Roast

Izotalillo is a small village nestled in the mountains near El Salvador’s northern border with Honduras. The coffee from this region is shade-grown and hand-processed by the ten families who reside there. While the community also cultivates corn and beans, coffee has been a staple crop since 1993, when the farmers returned to their land to rebuild after years of regional conflict.

Our esteemed industry friend, Dean Stevens, has been working with this community for over 30 years. We are fortunate to have the opportunity to roast and serve this exceptional micro-lot coffee.
