Medium – Dark Roast

Coffee was introduced to Tanzania in the late 1800s with the first cooperative established in Kilimanjaro in 1925. Coffee farmers in this region intercrop with banana trees to provide adequate shade for coffee plants. Bananas play a large part in the local diet, while coffee is a major cash crop. The Mamsera, Mahida, and Kirwa Keni Cooperative groups are known to produce some of the best coffee in Tanzania, with this cup offering delightful tastes of citric acidity, earthy chocolate, and brown sugar notes. This coffee is one of SlackTide’s favorite for cold brew!
